Equity option scheme (ALL)
Everyone who works at Kraken owns a part of the business with shares in the Octopus Energy Group. So as the company grows we all benefit.
Pension scheme (UK, France, Italy, Germany)
We'll pay 5%. You decide on your contribution starting from 3%.
Pension scheme (Spain)
We'll pay a fixed amount based on your salary:
Up to €30k: €500
€30,001 - €60k: €750
€60,001 - €100k: €1000
Above €100,001: €1500
Contributions are made at the end of the year.
Forms will be sent out in October/November.
Pension scheme (Netherlands)
We'll cover 8% fully paid by Kraken Rotterdam. You can choose to contribute additional percentages if you wish.
Holidays (UK, Spain, Italy, Germany)
We don't count your holiday days. We trust everyone to work hard and take as much time off as they need.
Holidays (France)
We’ll give you 25 days, the legal standard.
Holidays (Netherlands)
We’ll give you 23 days, the legal standard.
Flexible working (ALL)
We're happy for you to work in a way that's best for you. Need to pick the kids up from school or work from home? That's not a problem. It's important to us that everyone has a positive work-life balance.
Free breakfast (ALL)
Our offices are always stocked with fresh fruit, breakfast, snacks, great coffee and soft drinks.
Weekly on a Friday we all get together (including virtually) for company updates and drinks.
Health Insurance (Spain)
Once you join, you'll have the option to select from various flexible compensation choices through salary sacrifice.

We offer eye test vouchers for all colleagues who use Visual Display Units (VDU). Long spells of VDU work can be visually demanding so we want to make sure you're OK.
